terms of service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Cornblock’s iOS app, website, and related services (together, the “Services”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Cornblock is a self-control tool

Cornblock helps you set personal boundaries around adult content, selected websites, and selected apps on devices you own or are authorized to use. It is not medical care, therapy, crisis support, or a treatment for any health condition, and it does not guarantee any particular outcome.

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent mental-health support, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional rather than relying on Cornblock.

2. Eligibility and responsible use

You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Cornblock only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for your device, Apple ID, app permissions, and use of the Services.

  • Use Cornblock only on devices you own or control, or where you have the owner’s clear permission.
  • Do not use Cornblock to monitor, control, or interfere with another person’s device or account without permission, or for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, abuse, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, except where applicable law permits that activity despite this restriction.

3. Permissions and blocking limitations

Blocking features rely on Apple’s Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, Safari extension, iOS settings, and the permissions you grant. You can revoke permissions or change system settings at any time, but doing so can reduce or stop Cornblock’s ability to block or report activity.

Cornblock is not a guarantee that every app, website, browser, network, or piece of content will be blocked at all times. Platform changes, device settings, operating-system behavior, permissions, updates, and third-party services can affect availability and accuracy. You remain responsible for deciding whether Cornblock is appropriate for your situation and for using any additional safeguards you need.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Cornblock Pro subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store. Apple shows the applicable price, billing period, trial terms (if any), and other purchase terms before you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, subject to Apple’s terms.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. You keep access through the end of the paid period unless Apple tells you otherwise. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies. We may use RevenueCat to verify and restore subscription access, but Apple remains the payment processor.

5. Feedback, third parties, and updates

If you send us a suggestion, bug report, or other feedback, you allow us to use it to improve Cornblock without compensation to you. Please do not send sensitive personal information in a feedback form or email unless it is necessary for your request.

The Services may link to or rely on Apple, the App Store, RevenueCat, UserJot, social platforms, and other third-party services. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the Services, including a feature or plan, when reasonably necessary. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will update the date above and provide additional notice when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

6. Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or effective at blocking particular content or helping you meet a personal goal.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cornblock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, goodwill, or profits arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
